staff kindness shines through chaos
The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to assist. I appreciated their smiles and helpfulness, especially during breakfast, where options abounded.
However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom had leftover soap from the previous guest, and there were no towels available at the pool.

Our family loved the variety of outdoor activities at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The hotel was also conveniently located near the river, making our evening stroll enjoyable. The 32-inch flat-screen TV in our room was a hit with the teens, providing loads of entertainment.
In my wife’s opinion, the pool could really use better maintenance for families. It was uninviting, which made it tough for the kids to enjoy after a long day of travel.

Overall Clean and Friendly Stay
Our family enjoyed a comfortable night despite a few minor issues. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering tips for local dining. Try the nearby Cracker Barrel for a hearty meal! A bit of light noise from outside, but we managed to sleep well. Bring your own extra pillows!

comfortable but minor issues
The room was immaculate upon arrival, making my stay very pleasant. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere created by the staff! The location was excellent, making it easy to explore local dining options like Aubrey's Strawberry Plains, which served fantastic fresh salads that delighted our taste buds.
There were minor maintenance issues that needed addressing.

Cozy and Friendly Vibes
We spent 3 nights in a nice King room and had a pretty good experience. Staff was super nice, especially during breakfast, where they had a great variety. But the toilet seat was wobbly, which was a bit annoying. Still, overall, it felt comfy and welcoming!

The salads at nearby Aubrey's Strawberry Plains are a real winner, with fresh flavors that'll make your taste buds dance! Plus, we loved that the hotel's in a prime locale, super close to Amigo's & Beer Mexican Grill for some spicy bites and Cracker Barrel for that classic Southern flair.
The fitness room was a bit of a letdown, with limited weights and some machines needing a little TLC. Thankfully, a staff member did come through and wiped down the equipment, but it could've used more regular attention.
